Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Nexara handles, why we handle it, and the choices available to you.

Last updated: September 2, 2026

1. Information you provide

We receive account details such as your email, display name, avatar, authentication identifiers, plan and billing status, prompts, conversation content, uploaded files, feedback, and support or crash reports you choose to send.

2. Information collected automatically

We may receive device and browser details, approximate usage, route and error information, timestamps, and security signals needed to operate and protect Nexara. We do not use your conversation text for advertising.

3. How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, save and return conversations, provide AI responses and artifacts, enforce limits, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, diagnose crashes, improve reliability, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations.

Your chat history is stored on your account so it can sync across the web, Android, Windows, and CLI. Nexara itself does not warehouse your prompts or train on your conversations.

4. AI providers, routers, and processors

To answer a request, only the minimum context needed for that request — relevant prompts, conversation context, and files — is sent onward to the model, search, hosting, storage, authentication, payments, or integration providers required for the feature you use. Depending on the feature, this can include Supabase for account and application data, Vercel for hosting and logs, Stripe for checkout and subscriptions, model providers and the routers that carry requests to them, search providers, Discord for crash or feedback delivery, and connected services you explicitly enable.

Routing can change from day to day: a model may be served straight by its provider or through a model router (aggregators like OpenRouter that forward requests to the actual model host). Whatever the delivery path, the model named in your conversation is the model that answers, and Nexara tells you which model served each reply. We use service providers under their applicable agreements and do not sell personal information.

5. Sharing and connected features

If you create a public share link, the content selected for sharing can be viewed by anyone with that link. Browser, agent, Drive, file, and integration features may send information to the external service you choose. Check the destination and its privacy policy before connecting it. Crash and feedback reports are optional, but may include technical context and the text you submit.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain account and conversation data while your account is active or as needed for the purposes above. You can delete conversations through Nexara where the feature is provided. To request account deletion or ask about retained data, use the in-app support channel. Some records may remain temporarily in backups or where retention is required by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access and protected service connections. Your conversations are protected by database-level access rules: each chat belongs to the account that created it, and other accounts cannot read or write it. The only exceptions are content you choose to open — a public share link you create, or a conversation you invite a collaborator into. The rules that enforce this are published in our version-controlled database migrations.

No online service is completely secure, so avoid placing passwords, private keys, or information you are not authorized to share into a prompt.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. You can manage profile details and preferences in Nexara, and you may request help through in-app support. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Children

Nexara is not directed to children who are not legally permitted to use the service. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you do not meet the age requirements that apply where you live.

10. International processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own by Nexara and its service providers. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Updates

We may update this policy as our practices change. We will update the date above and, when appropriate, provide an in-product notice.
